Trying to stay caught up!

I still have so many pics I haven't put on here, I like to try to add em when they happen so I can go back and remember for scrapbooking but I have been a slacker! So I know more pics from Thanksgiving will be coming up cause that is always a big family reunion time (in AZ too, yay!) so I just wanted to add a few things that have been going on! (Not much really!:)

Well we had my brother and his family come visit for a night and that was super fun and our babies look SOO much alike I just had to get out the camera! They are only like a month apart too its really fun getting to see fam!
Besides Meg's bday this week we had our friends son's bday too, it was cute and so different from all the girly frilly stuff we are used to, but of course Meg loved it just as much, I try to talk her outta it hehe:) jk But we are determined to have these two get married, he is such a cutie!

So not much has been going on, we are finally moved into our apt and still have a bit of unpacking to do but the fact that we are now not living completely outta boxes we are loving that! And this apt is a TON bigger so we can actually move around in it LOL and I have so much storage space I LOVE IT! So people can come visit more now too!:) Its sad tho cause we did leave our kittys in Utah with their grandma and uncle bobby but they are doing good (I think!:) and we are not having to worry about em trying to run out every time we open a door and now all my fam with allergies can come visit too! But I am really missing them still its like they are my children too!:( But things are going well and Emma is starting to wake me only once at night which is MUCH better then the three to four times at first! And she is chubbin up A TON I love it so much its the cutest and I know she is healthier so I love it even more!

Megan and Joe are also doing well, so no complaints here!:)

Happy Birthday Megan!!

I cant believe my baby girl is TWO already its gone by TOO fast! She is such an amazing little girl she is just so smart and does something to show me this every day! She is talking ALL the time, reads books to me(out of memorization of course, but to a TEE!) I cant believe that, she remembers things so much better then me! And she sings all sorts of songs, every word right usually too, its so cool, Here at the bottom is a video of her singing Twinkle Twinkle, she sings many many more its so cute I love it! She counts to twenty or more and she says the whole alphabet, this has all been going on for quite awhile of course but she is just growing more and more mentally and physically every day and way to fast! But its fun cause she is so fun to hang out with and talk to now that she is having small conversations and stuff, its cute. We have so much fun just chilling and talking to each other, its like she is just this friend of mine who stays with me all day and I love it! haha I am kinda like a kid too so it works out good for us both!:)

She is SUPER girly girl too and I, of course, LOVE that, all week we have been talking about her Tinkerbell bday party we were having and she couldnt stop thinking about it(very true Chelsy about not telling em too early cause they get a little TOO excited!:) She wouldnt nap at ALL this week and said nothing unless it involved the party it was so funny. And was so mad all week that she couldnt put her dress and wings on, she is OBSESSED with them. (I love it tho!:) So every day since the party she pretty much is living in this gettup, and she is just so cute in it I am ok with that!:)

She also had her two year doc appt and did PERFECT, she is good on wieght and hieght and the doc says she is above average on her talking, and other skills, so that is great to know! Yes I am bragging, I cant help myself-I am very proud :) LOL

Well the party turned out really well, even though we had to have a huge MESS of an apt (from the move) ready for it in like a week, it was the most work I have EVER done I swear, such a busy week and now its over so time for lots of relaxing for me! But it was so fun, just a small get together really but still fun! And thanks for all her bday wishes, everyone was so sweet, she loved her bday, even tho she is so young I know she loved it!

The cake was my favorite part, isnt it the best!??



She was a little nervous to have everyone staring at her when it was time to blow out the candles so we had to help her a bit but she just LOVED when we all sang to her, she is always singing the happy birthday song and couldnt believe we were singing it just for HER!
We got her Barbie sized Disney princesses, Cinderella and Snow White, she hasnt put them down since!
Some buddies who came to see Megs, it was so nice of them to come and she always had some kid to play with so that was nice entertainment for her! And we had to have Emma as Tinkerbell for the party, she is the cutest, she got to hang with Andy and Amy's cute little Owen, he is such a good little baby they are so cute, he kept trying to hold her hand-so cute!




Such cute girls, these dresses are so cute and were super tight on em both so sadly we will be putting them away and so I had to get a good pic! And I just LOVE the colors in this cardigan Meg is wearing, arent they the cutest together? :)
My sis took some fam pics for us, we havent had any since we have had two girls, it was fun! Such pretty Utah fall leaves, we miss them!
Hanging with my girls, it was kinda chilly one Arizona night so we thought we would try out our fireplace, of course we had to leave the windows open since it was a little TOO hot otherwise LOL but it was cozy and fun!:)

Happy Halloween 2009!!

It was such a fun day! We made 'pumpkin toast' for breakfast, then Meg wouldnt nap cause she kept saying "I want to go to Halloween party!" it was so cute, but so that wasnt too fun LOL. But then we went to my friend Brooke and her families house after we got all dressed up (Joe was a Diamond Backs fan:) and we had Papa Murphys Jack O Lantern pizza-yum!, then went down her street which consists of ALOT of our old ward members, including our bishop, and took Meg trick or treating for her first time! They go all out on this street its so cute, lots of decorations and treats and FUN!(And so nice out, like 80 deg!) Then we sat at Brookes house and handed out candy to TONS of kids, I am so happy that Halloween turned out so good! And now mommy and daddy have lots of candy to eat:) hehe

Sarah's Wedding!

My sweet cousin, and a life long friend of mine just got married! She was sooo beautiful and the wedding was so perfect in the Mesa AZ temple, first sealing I got to go to and it meant so much to me to be there! Love you girl and congrats! :)

I took a few pics for them before they got married, what a cute couple!
It was so cool they had her parents backyard done up with so many lights, all over the pool gate, the bushes, the staircase, everywhere! And a dance floor, GREAT food (pizza lol) and even a candy table! It was the cutest set up and so much fun!
I think Meg enjoyed herself more than anyone with that dance floor! She didnt stop dancing the whole time we were there! (She def went to bed good that night!:)

So cute with the cake we all yelled to shove it in her face and Sarah was hesitant but Greg just went right for it and totally surprised her! It was so funny! Good job Greg hehe

Swine Flu :(

Yup I am one of the lucky ones who got to go through the big FLU. I didnt test to see if it was actually the swine flu but the doc in the E.R. I went to (yup I ended up there, we thought it may have been pnemonia-thank goodness it wasnt!) said the the regular flu season hasnt started yet and anyone who has the flu now is pretty much suffering through the swine flu, although its not that big of a deal like everyone makes it out to be its just the flu, with a fancy (if that is what you can call it!) name. And so we just need to treat the symptoms, it is still HORRIBLE. I encourage EVERYONE to WASH HANDS constantly and be careful as possible not to get this, but they say there isnt alot anyone can do to prevent it cause you can get it in the air easily, its the worst thing ever to have tho. You get soooo achey body and cough and sore everywhere, aw man its so horrible and I am FINALLY getting over it!
But I think the all time worst part of it was that I didnt have my hubby here in Utah with me (Thank goodness I had my mommy here to take VERY good care of me!) and I had to send my kids away to my sisters houses to stay while i recovered cause its VERY contagious! Its been sooo hard, as anyone knows I have attatchment problems and dont like leaving my kids at all, in fact I have even stayed in nursery with Meg whenever I take her, I know she is fine but I am horrible and prefer to be there with her LOL. Ok so it was actually really nice to be able to get rest and heal cause I wouldnt have been able to take care of them with this mess of the flu so I was so blessed to have still been in Utah to have my sisters here for me! My sister who took Meg has kids almost her age to play with so she was just so good and is having so much fun with her cousins, having movie night, family night, dress ups, all the things meg just loves, and she was so wonderful to give her and the kids LOTS of healthy things like pediasure, cranberry juice and whatever it took, to keep them from getting sick! ANd my other sister who has just a 6 month old took my Emma to her house and she is just doing so well hanging out with her cousin, she doesnt know as much right now but they are having fun and my sisters are the BEST for helping me!
I am so grateful I cant tell them enough, it sucks cause now my dad, brother(who just got back from his mission three days before in Japan!), pregnant sister and her hubby are all suffering from something now too-man its contagious!
We are praying our little babies dont get it still and I get to go get them tonight and on home to AZ tomaro to be with Joe, we are very excited to be reunited as our little family again! Its been crazy times but we are blessed and are making it through!:)
So they were so kind to keep up the pics so the sick house over here can get some fun emails with em in it and I can see my little babies, these are a few fun ones they sent me-I cant wait to just be better so I can hug and kiss them again! Aw we are missing them so much!
(Poor Joe had to go back for school and has been away for longer, its hard to be away for so long!)

My Emma didnt have alot with her when my sis took her so she got to put her in her baby boys clothes, it was so cute tho these pics turned out adorable and she loves her in blue so she got some good pics of her in that, I dont put her in blue alot, maybe I should tho!:)

Her cousin is a bit older so he thinks he gets all the toys:)

Saying Goodbye

This week has been super crazy and now that it is ending so quickly it was like an ending to a dream or something.
We just made a very very quick trip(after moving to a new apartment in TWO days-we were completely beat,we drove all night long, thats very tough lol) to Utah to say goodbye (for now) to Joe's mother Pat and had a wonderful funeral service for her. Many family members spoke and said the most beautiful things about her, including Joe, and Joe got to dedicate her gravesite, which was the most amazing thing for me to see and we know she is so proud of him.
They said some really great things that I didnt even know about her and it was so good to hear and to know that she has lived an amazing, and Spiritual life, doing all she possibly could and living it to the fullest.
I am so happy to know that we will meet with her again someday and that she is now out of all the pain she was in. It was so good to be able to be around all her and Joe's family and mourn in this bittersweet time together. They are a wonderful family.
I hope its not long before we get to come to Utah to see them all again. We love you Pat!:)

Another Angel returns to Heaven

Until we meet again..

Joe's mom, my mother in law Pat, passed away today peacefully in her sleep...She will be very much missed. She was a wonderful daugther, mother, and friend. We love you Pat!
